A DJ set featuring a wide-ranging selection of U2 remixes played at
favorite bar Sirkus Föroyar in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands on the evening of
November 18 2021. To mark the occasion of the 30th anniversary for U2's
landmark album Achtung Baby. This album was U2's "return to Europe" and
it is very much informed by club music, electronic music and dance
music. The first couple of U2 remixes appeared already in the early 80's
but the AB period marked the beginning of U2's serious engagement with
remix culture where they enlisted the services of DJ's and remixers at
the forefront of dance music culture. Thus this DJ set is a journey
through nearly 40 years of alternative U2 history, remix culture and
changing dance music styles. Enjoy!
